This was supposed to be posted two weeks ago *cringe* I'm so sorry about the delay!
Honestly I don't know how I come up with this stuff, but here it is! Please remember that this is a novelty DIY and not meant to be portrayed as a practical one! But if you want to give it go here's what you need!
-Black Nail polish ( you can find it for a buck at the drugstore)
-pencil(s)
Tools
- a blade

So you have to begin by shaving off the graphite from the pencils into a fine powder. They more powder the more pigmented you polish will be, but be careful not to add so much that the polish gets clumpy.
*You have to do this by getting the graphite stick out of the pencil. You can use your blade to split the pencil in half, but I used a pair of wire cutters and took off chunks of pencil wood. Then use your blade and stroke the graphite to get a powder.
Lastly I used a paper funnel to pour my shavings into the polish. Paint on your nails and your done!
Tips:
~ don't use a top coat over your pencil polish!
~ Altoigh graphite is should be non toxic be careful if your prone to putting your fingers in your mouth!
