I challenge you to the Lazy Stars Smile Challenge
I believe that no matter how bad your day, week, month, year, life is smiling can make your day, week, month, year, life better. However when everything seems so bad you cant force yourself to smile so sometimes you need a little help from others. I challenge you to compliment people and try to make them smile whenever you get the chance. Since it can be dangerous for children and teenagers ( sometimes compliments from the youth can be more meaningful)to go up to strangers I came up with an idea that is still within the DIY spirit. I encourage people to write random compliments on pieces of paper (around business card size) and leave them around your neighborhood. On the back of the card write Pass On The Compliment to keep the chain going. Throughout the year I will post some templates to make it easier. All you'll have to do is print and cut and potentially decorate.
Good Places to "Hide" your compliments
* On the business card corkboards in stores or restaurants
*In public restrooms
*In shopping carts
*In between merchandise at stores
* etc.
You can also write things on your compliment based on where your going to leave them. Like if you leave it at an Orthodontist you could say " You have a beautiful smile".
