I recently came up with this recipe and I will say it is delicious and I can not wait for you to try it out!
Ingredients-
• one pint of organic heavy whipping cream
•one half of an organ whole vanilla bean
•one cup of organic 2% milk
•1/4 cup of organic cane sugar
Tools-
•An Icecream machine
•An airtight container
•a bowl
•a spoon
Instructions-
Combine 2% milk and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Add your one pint of cream and mix lightly. Now de-seed your vanilla bean. Do this by simply slicing it in half and collecting all the seeds. You can use organic extract, but you will not get the signiture black dots seen in a vanilla bean Icecream. You can also add some extract if the bean does not add enough flavor for your taste.
Let covered Icecream base chill in the freezer for two hours.
Put into Icecream machine until creamy! If you do not have a machine, pour the base into your airtight container and freeze, every 40 min mix the base and scrape at it until it is your desired consistency, it won't be as creamy but it'll taste delicious! Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
