First I would like to apologize for not posting last Saturday! I was on vacation and wasn't able to get one up for you guys!
I have been wanting to share another Icecream tutorial for a while now and as I was brainstorming flavor ideas I came up with this one! I was originally thinking about the sprinkles. Normally the sprinkles are on top and you don't get them throughout all the Icecream. Then I thought, if I'm gonna pump up my Icecream with sprinkles, why not incorporate everything I put in my favorite sundae? So that's just what I did! Read on for how to make this delectable ice cream!
First I made my Icecream base. This was not my own recipe, in fact, I looked mine up online. I used a Philedelphia style Icecream base but you can use whichever you prefer. Make your base based on the instructions on your recipe.
Now churn your Icecream base as it is. You do not want to add in yiur fillings yet or the machine may break.
Once your Icecream is churned add in your fillings. This all depends on which sundae your going for. I did mine pretty simple, I poured in sprinkles and swirled in chocolate and caramel topping. You can add whatever your heart desires! Nuts, Peanut Butter, chopped up candy, crushed cookies, etc. You can also go for a specific type of sundae. Like if you like Turtle Sundaes you can add chopped pecans, caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. If your going for a banana split type sundae you can add strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce and nuts and all you need is to serve it with a sliced banana! If your going for a peanut butter sundae you an swirl in peanut butter (I reccomend gently melting before you swirl) and chopped up peanut butter cups. You could even make a snickers sundae by adding caramel, chocolate, and peanuts! The possibility are endless!

After adding your desired fixings, pour into an airtight container and place in freezer to freeze. Let sit for at least 6 hours to serve. (Time may vary based on amount of Icecream and container it is put into)
I hope you enjoy making your very own #sundaeinascoop
